White Ash Trees Poem by Adrianna La Flash

White Ash Trees

I am a tree
Strong
Tall
On the outside

But once I have been broken.
All thats left is the spinning of time
My woeful decaying years

I am left pretending to stand proud
While my mind wonders when I will finally snap under the pressure of gravity
Disheartened by yesterday's sadness.

but trees can survive the worst storms.. and live hundreds of years.. ;) a deep sadness in your verse, but a very well penned 'intimate' poem
