White Rose Buds Poem by Christine Figueras Weiss

White Rose Buds

White rose buds in the garden
living in silence, as they do bloom
as cold hearts beginning to un harden
But then in the midst of the cold hour
it's petals begin to fall apart
as endless tears from a broken heart.
A rose in full bloom
tries it's best to stay alive in it's world
as long as it can.
Just as so a challenged love
does struggle to exist
between a woman and a man.
