White Roses Poem by bluegrl 927

White Roses

Rating: 4.0

White roses,
White as the new fallen snow,
That winter’s cold brings.
Their petals,
As soft
As bird feathers.
Their beauty
Can put at peace,
While their thorns
Can give you grief.
White roses,
Blooming all around.
In summer for some,
Year round for the lucky.
Gorgeous at dusk.
Breathtaking at dawn.
Beautiful during the day.
Making you smile with their magic,
A bouquet in your hand,
With a poem on the end.
A poem,
Showing you and others
That you do not need to start with
Roses are red and violets are blue.
