Who Am I? Poem by Cristopher Taylo

Who Am I?

Mountains, heavy are the mountains
but that changes, with the passage of time.
Sky, blue sky
what your eye can't see what your eye can see
the sun, one, only one.
Water, it is agreeable.
People? Persons? Friends?
Flowers, so many the same, so many without purpose.
Sky, sky of red
red the color, the color i bleed.
The liquid flows,
it drips, ripples and pours.
Blood, the scent of blood
From someone who does not bleed.
From the red soil, the human come
humans made by man and woman.
City, a human creation.
Life, a human creation as well.
What are humans?
Are they creations of God?
Humans, created by that which is human.
This is that which is life.
My life, my heart
i am a vessel of my thoughts.
The source of life, the throne of soul.
Who is this? This is me.
Who am i? What am i? What i am...
I am I.
This object that is, is my self
which this forms me.
This is my self that can be seen,
yet this is not which is my self.
A strange feeling
my body feels as if it is melting.
I can no longer see myself
my form, my shape, it fades from view.
Awareness dawns of someone who is not me
who is here? there? beyond me here?
Me?
This person i know, you?
them?
people, my classmates
the ones that live
us?
who i am? who am i? who?
