Who Am I Poem by Amanda Delancy

Stuck in between two worlds,
Two voices,
Two songs
Tryin to find my own voice, but it gets lost in this world of confusion
Who am I and who am I not to be
This world tells me one thing and my religion tells me another thing
People say my mind is a battle field and it is more powerful beyond measure
People also tell me that God will help me fight my battles but why does it feel like i'm on the field alone
I keep going around and around in circles
but it all just leads me to one question
Who am i
and Who am I not to be?
