Who Am I? - Poem by Don Skuravy

I am whatever you want me to be

I know love yet I have never been loved by me
How can you love me, you never knew
I feel you inside yet I have never touched you
I am whatever you want me to be
I see your beauty yet I have never opened my eyes
I know you are sad yet I have never seen your cries
I am whatever you want me to be
I know you are alone yet we are always together
I am whatever you want me to be
You gave me control and I lost all control
I was whatever you wanted me to be
I am no longer what you want me to be
Now I don’t remember me

I will be what ever you want me to be
