I am a piece of peculiar pride,
It is myself, that I try to hide.
Venturing onto a vain vulgarity,
I forget my own serene sobriety.
I am a piece of peculiar pride,
I need to explore, I need to chide-
My own vulgarity that I venture,
Daring demand of avid adventure!
Who am I then, who has conceit-
A forgetful mind with arrogant height?
Egotistic affairs and disdainful deceit-
All this is I, a piece of peculiar pride! !
Who am I then, who doesn't care-
What is fine and what is fair?
Who doesn't bother in other's affair?
Life is not some fungus, nor a funfair!
Who am I then, I need to explore,
Or I have to wail and have to deplore!
