Who Are You? Poem by Elise Nevermore

Who Are You?

Hello, Mother.
Hello, Father.
Kindly explain,
Why I even bother.
Hello, Father.
Hello, Mother.
Why can't you two
Be more like like brother?
Why must you two
Murderers fight?
I will hear your screams
In my dreams tonight.
You two always
Blame each other.
You're not my father.
You're not my mother.
Sometimes I wish
I could just die,
Because I'm still
Unable to cry.
Guilty heart,
Locked in a vault.
Parents' anger.
It's your fault.
