What thoughts lye
Behind these dark brown eyes?
What lyes behind the tears I cry?
What pain is there that I must hide?
Who is the person truly blind?
Why is it that they do not see?
Why dont they sense the pain in me?
The thoughts in me are mine to hide.
The tears that fall are mine to bare.
The pain I bare is only mine.
So leave me alone
And let me mind.
Im trying to mend a broken heart
But you dont care.
Youre not the one hurt.
