Who Ever Shall Know The Night? Poem by Bree Bryner

Who Ever Shall Know The Night?

Who ever shall know the night?
Where the wind blows and wolves observe
Their prey to hunt and fight?

Who ever shall know the night?
Where the creatures crawl
And the critters bite?
Where all you can see is black,
And you need something
You truly lack?

Who shall realize the night?
The true meaning of the time.
Maybe during a flight
Maybe a storm
Or a bright light
Will make someone realize
That night is a beautiful sight.

Who shall appreciate the night?
Neither you or I will know
It maybe someone who is easy to excite
But it could be someone mild-mannered
Neither you or I will know tonight.
