Who I Am - Ghanaian Sonnet Poem by Kingsley Asare Mensah

Who I Am - Ghanaian Sonnet

I am odomankoma's favorite squire
oh yes! the squire who's voice sounds like the lyre
Hear on Earth I am the knight who speaks fire

my smile was created to always evolve
yes evolve! into questions gods can't solve
if my eye drops a tear, mountains dissolve.

I can rule worlds for my words are heartfelt.
my words can swim the sun and never melt.
I can win a world war with just a belt.

I am the vibrant seed from Africa,
I am Kingsley and I am a writer,
long as my words told by every taler,

if I'm called by my maker, I'll ascend,
But my words will live long after my end.
