I never want this day to pass
This never ending silence seems to hold us back
No longer can I move ahead
When part of me is stuck behind
No longer can these lies cover us the truth
Dreams can wait
Memories frozen in time
As the last I spent w/ you replays in my mind
Something about you
Won't let me let go
As if I'm missing something
What is it I wonder?
This I will never know
Please understand you're always in my heart
Holding me back
While I try to move ahead
You've brought me many smiles
Yet I need to let go
Your heart belongs to another
As I'm trying to let mine
I know that things are different
Hopefully one thing remains the same
The friendship we've both created
'Cause without you I know I wouldn't be
