Who In Hell Is To Blame Poem by Alfred Ramos

Who In Hell Is To Blame

It was the first hint of dawn
When I noticed you were gone
Something made you run
Before the rising of the sun
You left your pillow wet
Was a sign of regret?
Something made you cry
Reasons I know not why
You slipped quietly into the night
Before the day pushed in the light
Something made you leave
A dream you couldn't retrieve
Was it all a game we played?
Forget the promises we made
Something made you fly
Into the starless sky
You were what kept me alive
I waited so long for love to arrive
Don't know how I will survive
If love is nothing but a game
And our feelings aren't the same
Then who in hell is to blame
