She lives in a moment
Alone, a loner but not by choice
Scarce and unseen, invisible
loud, lacking a voice
Impressionable and passionationate
Incredible, undecided thoughts
And they swim around her mind
She loved once
She took a shot
But it didn't work out
So she lives in that moment. Alone
Happiness is the goal
Freedom is the goal
She wanted to fly
She wanted to fight
She wished once and worked
No one wanted it more
But she didn't get it
She took a shot
But it didn't work out
So she lives in that moment. Alone
The fear of being forgotten
The phobia of being alone
Made her cold
She lost herself
Trying not to be herself
Scared she might lose herself
To someone who might forget
So she denies the present
And forgets the future
So she can live in that moment. Alone
Some people love to dream
But she lost her dreams
And she can't go back to them
She only has nightmares now
When she thinks of what she's missed
Because the world runs around her
And shes burnt out
The effort it takes to not care
All because she took that shot
And it didn't work out
So she lives in that moment. Alone
Her essence is need
The need to be loved
The need to be seen
The need to dream
It makes her do what can't be done
It's why she does what she likes
And why she accepts what she hates
It drives her away from where she lives
The place where she stays
Where she's on her own
Where she took a shot
Where it didn't work out
The moment shes lives in. Alone.
