Who’s Wise Enough?

For countless without sin’s burner
For souls damaged still bound
For the doubtful sluggish learner
Who’d climb to higher ground

Who’ll smile at death, laugh at the storm?
Who’ll flee life’s judgement’s sword?
The answer’s God, in human form
In Jesus Christ The Lord

Jesus, Jesus, God’s Lamb, God’s Son
Life’s Rock, life’s Corner Stone
Through Jesus’ blood, true life is won
Trusting in Him alone

But who is wise enough to try?
Knowledge enough to see
Willing one’s self to fail and die
To set one’s spirit free

Willing to live, to live again
Delivered from the grave
To see as Satan fails to reign
Who Jesus died to save

As kings and priests one day to rise
When time has reached its height
We’ll see our God before our eyes
In inapproachable light

Before Life’s brilliant throne we’ll bow
Christ’s praises there we’ll sing
With golden crown will God endow
With gown and wedding ring

With Christ as Groom with us as bride
With blessings God will give
To Heaven’s realm with joy inside
Forever more we’ll live…..
