WHO SHOULD I TURN TO?
Who should I turn to in times of darkness?
Even the breeze that passes slightly cool
Has now messed up my feelings and attentions
And the sun that rises at dawn (or winter)
My mind wants it no more.
Should I turn to loved ones
Who know me so well,
Or seek solace in nature
Where my heart can dwell,
Or stand to overcome my challenges?
In the midst of thousands
I feel lone and lost
And I yearn for a guiding to set me free
Or I should silent the noise and distractions
It might be the guiding voice I need.
Who should I turn to?
When am lost and confused
Should I reach for a life line help
Or find my inner strength?
Perhaps I will find answers
To the pages of my heart.
I will find my footing on earth
And let my spirit soar free;
Where the root of strength and love resides.
Through life's journey I will take my time
And trust the wisdom of my heart
Inspired by life
and experience
