Who Wants To Be A Millionaire! ? Poem by Denis Martindale

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire! ?

Who wants to be a millionaire
To buy a home at last?
Enough for each tax everywhere
That makes folks look aghast?
Enough to buy a new Rolls-Royce
And petrol now and then,
Or try electric, without noise
And charge up once again?
Why get a fancy swimming pool,
To please your brand new wife?
You poor, deluded, lovesick fool,
She'll bring you endless strife!
She'll buy fur coats and drink champagne,
And she'll eat caviar,
Before she drives you so insane,
You won't know where you are!
That joint account won't look so great,
Once she buys all she can,
You won't have much to celebrate
When she finds her new man.
You'll get divorced and lose the gold
That all gold diggers crave,
And you'll still hate her when you're old
With little left to save.
No, please don't do the lottery!
Don't win the cash that way!
You're better off, if you ask me,
Single! Like me, OK! ?

It seemed that he was at first, but not so much later! As expected, his money runs out soon enough. He lost an absolute fortune thanks to her... AND her lawyers...
