Who Wants To Wait Forever? Poem by Autumn Winds

Who Wants To Wait Forever?

Who wants to wait forever?
For everything that should -
No, could come true?
Fallen stars emphasises the weaker:
The fralighity of existence
And even that which remains
Almost
Imperishable
Shining facades of material brilliance
Cloud conceived reality
Who wants to wait forever?
For conflicted affection to appear
As if forced by an unknown hand?
Weariness and fatigue
Gain strength through
Treacherous journey
Called down from spacious skies
Arises knowledge of Forever
But, what is forever?
And who waits forever anyway?
