Who We Are Comments

My dear Anonymous, Again you have written from the deepness of your soul, and with high emotion and feeling. This poem tells it exactly like it is. There are those who will try to make us be like them, and then get incensed when we don't. We are all unique indivduals with unique ideas, dreams, and goals, and to achieve these ideas, dreams, and goals, we simply cannot allow others to make us like them, or we will be a society without personality. For 4½ decades I have said this very same thing over and over and over again, but the so-called 'moral-majority' tried their best to destroy me. When they didn't work, they tried to take my dignity and honor away from me, and when that didn't work, they just kinda left me alone. Fahim is so right too, we got to be ourselves, no matter what the odds against that happening are. A perfect 10. Love & hugs, Barbara
