Whore - Poem by Nichole Flynn

Wondering lost and alone, always lone
Searching for that true one to love always
Only finding for now’s, good for a moan
But longing for more; she all but do says

Looking for the way, longing for the light
Haplessly in love, looking for a sign
Roaming lost through the dark and frightening night
Grabbed and startled, she lets out a low whine

Pushed down she lets go a cry; help me O’ lord
Now with her in need of help, you pass by
Watching her lay down and die you sigh; O’ lord
Do you say that whore deserved to die?

Well now who are you to judge and compare
When faced with the question of who you are?
