Why - Poem by celia massiah

You tell me it won’t hurt I wont feel a thing
But I feel all the pain you said I wouldn’t feel
You bring the blade close saying your doing this for me
For me. That’s all I ever hear you’re doing this for - me
But there’s no time to go back now
My time is drawing close
But tell me; what did I do?
To hurt you soo
Is this the only way I want to know
But you wont answer your oh so close
To what you’ve wanted to kill the most
But I will be strong though the pain is bad
But the look you wear is so far from sad
I guess I’ll never know what I really did
And all of this is what you did
I’ll die but please save the drama
I don’t want you to cry
Cos we both know that would be a lie
But you chose your choice
You chose that I die
And I’m sorry
So very sorry
That
I asked
You
WHY
