Why - Poem by Ruth warren
You weren't there for me
the times I needed you most,
You were obsessed with your own
self-destruction and now I am just
a mere ghost.
You ignored me when I cried
so you didn't notice when I died,
I guietly faded deep inside myself
Now in the shadow's where I hide,
because you were never there for me.
Are you so blind?
That you cannot see?
Have you really not realised yet?
Open your eyes and see?
That I am you and you are me.
