WHY


They were tall and fair and young free
As they danced the night away
All cares they had had disappeared
In that tropical paradise
Then it happened
And paradise was turned to hell
Why
Why we ask
Why would any sane human being do this
Perhaps that is the question?
Were those responsible sane
Why
Why we ask
Why would any God allow this
Would any loving God allow this to happen to his flock
But it happened and is now history
And we must never forget
Those young and innocent people
Who met an untimely death
We must never allow this to happen again
That young Australians are at risk
When they are at play.
