Why did she talk
why was he there
why did he turn
when nobody could care
why didnt she run or hide or scream
why didnt she leave
or tell anybody
because she knew nobody would listen
right from the beginning
they turned the other way
in despite of the bleeding
the haunting memories
the flowing tears
nothing could heal
these trying fears
