Why Are You Melting Down? Poem by Satish Verma

Why Are You Melting Down?

Between friend and foe
you think to kill the mockingbird?
How come, the volcano didn't explode?

A nascent thorn wants
to become a flower. You always speak
differently like a peacock dancing.

So you want to hurl
against the high waves of violence.
Don't print the blood on the wall.
