Why Change? Poem by crazy sweep

Dance around my fingertips
then dance over my heart
Lie next to me
but we will still feel so far apart

The river drowns
as i slip away with the tide
i need you to save me
but you just choose to hide

why can we only be us when alone
why does the thunder break down our happy home
why dont the flower grow to where i can see
so i can compliment her to the figure 8 of infinite

alas i see the island
but you say we arnt meant to be
i guess its just fate
but i wish you were still with me
