Why Do Fire Flies Die So Young? Poem by Zoe Abel

Why Do Fire Flies Die So Young?

Rating: 5.0

Why do fire flies die so young?
Never to have a meaning.

Why do children grow up?
Never to keep their innocence.

Why do we allow our hearts to break?
Never to contain the tears that will come.

Why do people suffer?
Never to experience joy.

Why do we ache for the unknown?
Never to be eased of the wonder.

Why did they die?
Never to have loved.

Why do I cry?
Never at peace...

Well! Never say never is my response to your enquiry poem Tsion. Life is what we make it and it we are told that life is a continuous struggle and full of bitterness and strife, that is what we will find. We have to take control of our own minds. A good thought provoking read, you are young and can choose the steps you take with consideration and care. Let others live their lives, we all do it our own way, living with ourselves is our job alone. Smiling at you, Tai
