Disability does need to be promoted in order for the people living with these difficulties to get the proper help that they require to live. I have a physical disability and I don't want people giving me pity. In fact, I hate pity...often it's people without the disability looking for it. I prefer to live like every other 19 year old...as do most other individuals with disabilities do.
