Why Ikeep Going Poem by Hamzat Mariam

Why Ikeep Going

For the mother who labour day and night,
I could keep going,
So her pains wont be in vain,
But I didn't.

For the brother who encourages me,
I could keep going,
So his shouts woudnt turn to tauts,
But I didn't.

For the teachers who want only the best for me,
I could keep going,
So their midful teachings wouldn't be a waste,
But I didnt.

For everyone who surrounds and motivates me,
I could keep going,
So they can say congrats and cheers,
But I didn't.

I kept going for me,
For the me that failed a hundred times but never gave up,
The me that keeps working and never lose focus,
The me that will still fail,
But will never give up!
