i feel like giving up.
i'm not sure what went wrong
or where it began.
everything takes a turn
normally for the worst.

why me?
what did i do that was so bad?
i'm not complaining
and i ain't whinning.
i just want to understand...
why all that i do turns out bad.

i try to be nice
my words get turned around
i try to help out
my deed gets punished
i try to make things right
they only get worse
it feels as though i'm cursed.

i lie alone at night and wonder...
does God hate me or is it a joke
i don't find it funny.

so i guess i'm giving up
i'm tired of trying
nothing ever goes right
and as much as i love to write
my spelling sucks! ! ! ! !
