Why Must We Know? - Poem by Ana Stanisic
Why must we know?
Why do we have an unquenchable thirst for Knowledge
When we have all we need right here?
We think
And think
And think
about the meaning of things
about love
about hate
about happiness
about sadness
And maybe most of all death
But why must we strive to know
that which cannot be known
until you know it
experience it
learn it
for Yourself
Strange
We attempt to understand
But the Greatest things come from the Unknown
