Why Read The Bible

Lost is each soul condemned to die
Without life’s guiding Light
Without the Lamb of God on high
Without Love's gift of sight

His Truth and grace will God impart
To set His children free
Changing each troubled sinful heart
As doubt begins to flee

Allow Life’s word inside you burn
Surrender to The Light
See stubborn souls submit and learn
See darkness lose the fight

See increase come when hearts can read
When shame learns Truth to fear
See miracles when Heaven’s Seed
Leads humble souls to hear

When righteousness is finally wrought
Blind eyes will surely see
Faithful to Jesus’ true report
Hopeful of things to be

Effecting mortal flesh and bone
Salvation’s Wind will blow
Healing the blind of hearts of stone
Till love begin to flow

Sifting the doubt from countless lies
Cleansing God’s chosen queen
Heaven will open wide her eyes
Till Jesus’ face is seen

Arise! Accept The Truth first hand
By grace of God receive
Life’s secrets things will understand
All those who Christ believe
