Wild Bird - Poem by Sylvia Severdija

Like a wild bird
I fly up and down
stretching my wings
making designs
as I ascend
Into the sky.
Daring to climb
high and high
daring to go
far and far
and then...
to the ground I fall
with broken heart.
My tears washing
my wounds
My spirit mending
my soul
and slowly I begin
again to rise
a free bird in the
blue sky.

Where is Paradise?.
