Wild Card Poem by Benjamin Szymczyk

Wild Card

I call out for help, but no one seems to here,
I live my life in the dark; my weakness must be fear,
No ever sees me, do I even exist?
All I want is attention; it’s the one thing I can’t resist,
I want to be noticed, I want to be loved,
Walking down the street, I get pushed and shoved,
Maybe I should just quit, and stop trying so hard,
To always be the one, who never draws the wild card.
