Will Love Blossom Poem by Samira Shukri

Will Love Blossom

Over the sandstone wall
where the prophet's tears
were imprint
to cleanses the bloos
today is being spilt; the hope and proud
of a nation,
-wounded by military hatred-
raise to ask peace... Causes and reasons
were lost in time,
a call from their forefront
to reminder
"You, both are
"son of Abraham" Will love germinate
along ancient byways?
Will the wind erase
the terror and dying
which hammers this walls? .

Such originality is only expected from a wise person. It actually takes a sophisticated mind to bring down ideas on paper so delicately and so beautifully. Appreciate it. Best Regards, Mohammad from Iran
