Will Not Eat The Cake Poem by Satish Verma

Will Not Eat The Cake

Between you and you, there
was a pariah. It was a catastrophe.
And you want human rights.

We need gods. Love
was elementary. You were fighting
with yourself, after giving your blood.

Were there thugs in
our home? Why are you taking off
the wig. Bald eagle flies very fast.
