Will The Weather Change? Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

Will The Weather Change?

So many pieces of my broken heart
Even if I fix them there remains a crack
Spilling drops of tears of pain and sorrow
Where has the hope gone?
Disappeared with the wind
Will the weather change?
Melting the frozen ice
Giving me the warmth
Filling in the cracks
With affection and care
Will I see the sunshine?
Bringing smile to my lips
Will I taste the rain drops?
Quenching my thirst
Will the spring come soon?
Bringing fresh leaves
Will this ever happen
Please answer me

Great poems. You've really got a way with words. Your poems convey a painful past A constant yearning for a peaceful future Conveying powerful messages Conjuring vivid images Hints of sadness and hope A fight between two The inner girl trying to come out and cry But the outer is clearly the winner Conquest of the past is clear Endurance is evident Soul searching can be postponed As there's a lot more to enjoy Smile and enjoy your perfect weekend. Never knew that your simplicity and silence hid such a huge talent. Keep it up and have a perfect weekend just the way you described it.
