Will There Be Cake? Poem by Sierra Evans

Will There Be Cake?

When I die,
will there be cake?
Will there be time to celebrate?
Will anyone really cry?
Would anyone care,
the day that I die?

Will there be sorrow and tears of blue in the air?
Why so sad,
it's just me, it's only fair.

People die everyday,
is there cake for them?
Why cry when we die?

Is it really a time for sorrow,
or a time to just look forward;
to think of tomorrow.

When I die,
let there be cake.
When I die,
I don't want any tears,
when I die,
I want nothing of sorrow to my ears.

So,
when I die,
give me cake...
picnic around a lake,
and please, my loves,
celebrate.

For death we mourn, for death we sorrow.
I well get over it loves, because for you, there is still tomorrow.

Please don't cry, please, no sorrow...

So now my loves,
bury me deep,
and pretty please give me something good to eat.
