Will You Face The World With Me? - Poem by Soul Searcher

Love, I see you stop and stare
I know I don't have what you're looking for anymore
But it's like you still search for something in me
I just wish I could find it myself
My heart stops when our eyes meet
Magnetically almost, you come to me
But I'm hurt, so I'm strange
So it's not the way it should be
My love, you mean everything to me
If only I was still careless and innocent
Maybe then you'd find me
Find the thing you're looking for
But I figured it out by now
I don't need you to shield me anymore
You saved me from disaster,
And today I face the world
Now I'm asking you to join me
Join me at my side
Dear Love, will you?
