Wine Whine Poem by Zandra Solomon

Wine Whine

Rating: 3.5

you have until the last drop
to shoot your shot

watch as this wine glass
kisses my lips
and I sip its contents

seeping into my seat
I curl my legs underneath me
content with my choice of drink

my senses open up
and all that I need
is right here with me
watch as I find ease
in my breath

see this happiness
feel the scene
you have until my cup empties
to convince me
that you can make me any happier
than I do when it's just me and my wine

Mrs Zandra, I silently admire the way you enjoy wine. Please continue enjoying it.
