Wings Poem by Katie McKee

Wings

Rating: 4.5

My wings were once folded and Broken
so no one could get in
nor out
nothing could be fixed
but the night I was with you
thats when everything changed.
my wings spread wide
I have no more to hide
Now fixed
I stretch wide with Pride
you opened me up
like no other could
My heart flew to and fro
breaking off every last piece of my shell
of when I was alone and bleak.
My shell was broken
I'm finally free
Let it be Just you and me.
Keep my wings open wide
Soaring over us with pride.
I love you.
Thanks For rescuing me.3
