Wings Poem by Two Face

Wings

Swift, soft, streamlined,
Spread them across,
And follow your dreams signs.
Skim, soar, slide,
Fly so high,
Where even sadness cannot catch you,
Even if it were to try.

Start too early,
They maybe weak,
Making you fall quickly.
Wait for too long,
They would be so worn,
That you cannot hav them flown.
Just keep asking your heart,
For the right time,
And when it says 'yes',
You can proudly announce,
'The sky's gonna be mine'.

Till then,
Be patient,
Keep them flapping,
Open and shut.

I know in your heart there lingers a fear,
That there are others too far better,
But don't look at them,
Look up at the sky,
Limitless,
Fearless,
Waiting to be defied,
For which all you need are wings,
And immense faith to persevere and try,
And in my eyes you have it all,
Take a deep look inside,
To spread out the real wings,
Stand tall.

But remember,
Only those wings,
Which have enjoyed even the cold and biting wind,
Only those wings,
Which have respect for the tree on which they reside,
Only those wings,
Which embrace and forgive others sins,
Only those wings,
Which help remove thorns and stings,
And open up others wings,
Only those wings,
Which dare to give a try,
Can only kiss the sky.

Fly so high,
Where even the stars cannot reach out to you,
Even if they were to try.........
