Wings Poem by Dahlia Rose

Wings

Rating: 5.0

Your love flew in on a
thousand wings
On a cloudless, moonlit
night.
We shared the joy
of flying free,
And kissed at dawn
in flight.

We lived and laughed and
shared our love,
And from that love,
he came,
An angel, bright, with deep
blue eyes
And hair of golden flame.

And as our child grows
and learns,
We know that he
will be
The light that guides us along
the way
And teaches us
to see.

He opened up our hearts
to know
How good our lives
can be.
He comes to us, unfolds
his wings,
Together, flying free.
