Winter Poem by Justin Gildow

Winter

The fire is burning
You and I are enjoying the warmth
of it
And on the couch we're sitting close
together
Sharing a blanket

Outside our house
Snow is falling down

It's winter now
And it'll be winter for a long while
But you and I don't seem to have
any worries
Or any cares
We have each other
And that's all we need
For the time being

There's a wonderful feeling of silence
tonight
And peace and tranquility persist
throughout this night
