Winter Of Regret Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Winter Of Regret

I sigh and I fret
and I'll never forget
the last moment
I spent at your side.
I miss you my dear
life has been drear,
and my soul pines
for you yet...

Cold and dark ~
heavy the heart,
the heart that once
fell apart in the
ice and the snow
of long long ago,
'twas the winter
I will never forget.
