Winter Stars Poem by Rosetta -

Winter Stars

My candle melts onto my blanket.
The snowflake warmth speaks to me like a lyric, yet
others hate my guts and my poetry.

I'm healing like the warm candle inside.
Though most wouldn't understand, many a lyric come
When the enemy is up, and the hero is down.

And so as the blankets of winter-snow
Cover my sheets, my legs, my body, my heart;
I look up at the sky, buried and broken,
And I celebrate the end of another day.
