Winter Time Poem by Suruchi(Sumegha) Salhotra

Winter Time

When nature is quiet,
And all turns white,
Yes, it's winter time

Snowflakes dance in the air,
Bringing joy and winter's glare,
Yes, it's winter time.

Ice skates gliding on frozen lakes,
Laughter echoes in the chilly breaks,
Yes, it's winter time

Cozy fires warm the frosty air,
Cocoa steaming, a cup to share,
Yes, it's winter time.

Lanterns twinkle in the evening haze,
Nature's beauty in a frozen daze,
Yes, it's winter time

Snowman, my friend, comes to meet,
And we have a lovely treat,
Yes, it's winter time.
