Winters Mourning Poem by Minnie Gehrig

Winters Mourning

Winter is uponus,
breathing her frosty breath down
the necks of all the spring witches,
who lay frozen in the solitude of solstice,
I want to be with the ocean now,
and breath her sweet salts,
stand up and get thrown back down,
but dont lament on,
all the things uncontrollable,
that you try to own,
and pacck like so many precios things,
thrown into the bags that scare away all the hunters and prey alike,
that might feast with you or that you may feast on, through all the cold stillnesses of winters cold and cruel morning.........
