Wish Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Wish

The older I get
The more I realize:
Just, I need nothing
Nothing so much
But-
The simple things
Things in my life:
A restful home
For shelter
Healthful food
On the table
For the body
For my survival;
Surrounded
By the people
I love
Whom, I devote
The whole of myself
Trusting- to be true
To realize my pain
Behind the smiles;
Love behind my anger
And reason behind silence.

At the verge: I'm
Training my mind
To see the good
In everything-
The happiness of life
I'm searching
In my thoughts
In the world of gentle
And giants-
Where: the time is dramatic
Beautiful, loving, caring,
Strong and amazing too.
