Wish (Jun 3rd,2003) - Poem by Nicholas McDonough

Summers eve has just begun
Makes me feel like I'm the son
of all darkness and all light
a fallen angel who has the sight
to see things clearly through the night
Heaven's angel as well as Hell's knight
Wish away all the troubles of your day
As it fell like heaven turns to gray
The sky starts to fall..makes it all go away
It starts to crumble in every way
Wish it all away, wish it all away
Watch it fall away

Brought on forth by man's hatred
If you only knew all the pain I've tasted
Some of it torn and some of it sweetened
some of it wrong but I'll never be beaten

Wish away all the troubles of your day
As it feels like heaven turns to gray
The sky starts to fall, it makes it all go away
Wish it all away, wish it all away
Watch it fall away

Take a drink from holy water
you think it's right but sometimes I wonder
I have to go but you tell me no
I'll hang on but you take it slow
you don't know why but you made me sad
I start to cry and I know it's bad
I sure know when I've been had
Wish away all the troubles of your day
As it feels like heaven turns to gray
Wish it all away, wish it all away
Watch it all fall away
wish away all the troubles of your day
The sky starts to fall it makes it all go away
As it feels like heaven turns to gray

Seeing things clearly throughout the night
A fallen angel who has the sight
of all darkness and lacking the light
Heaven's angel as well as Hell's knight
If you only knew all the pain I've tasted
Brought on forth by man's hatred
Some of it wrong but I'll never be beaten
Some of it torn and some of it sweetened

but in the end I would do it all again
yes in the end I would do it all again
in the end I would do it all again
I would do it all again
in the end

do it all again
do it all again
do it all again
